CSAYL #43 - Out of the Box Challenge

Our challenge this week was to create a card that was not in the shape of a square or rectangle! So I made a this cute curvy creation! I used my Creative Memories cutting system, a favorite trusty old tool of mine.

This another digital snowman image from Squigglefly isn't he just adorable! You will be seeing several of their images through out these challenges as they just have the most adorable snowmen and you know how I LOVE snowmen! Papers and inks are Stampin'Up. I loved this weeks challenge, it was fun to create a card that was a fun shape!

Gift Set Challenge #1 - Card Purse

This is our first "Gift Set" challenge and I am so happy to be participating!! This year at CSAYL on the first week of each month, we'll have "gift set" challenges which consist of one 3D item (box, treat bags, gift bags, folders, etc.) and one card to create a coordinating set. A tutorial or a link to a tutorial will be posted and the challenge will be to create that 3D item and the card.

So from Maria "Without further ado. . .this week's challenge is to create a "Card Purse" with a coordinating card. I decided the "Card Purse" that I saw on SCS was a wonderful gift set idea for our very first gift set challenge. There will be no specific theme for this project. You may use any image, color, or embellishment as desired."

I had a great time creating this challenge! I made three of theses gift sets...which means I am off to a great start! I love this digital snowman image from Squigglefly he is just too adorable! All papers, inks and ribbons are Stampin'Up.
